Paul Rabara is a 30-year veteran teacher and the founder of Contempo Education Company in Aliso Viejo, California, which specializes in educating students on digital media production using a project-based learning approach. Utilizing his zest for innovation and education, Mr. Rabara offers digital media courses to students of all ages using the latest professional equipment and software. Mr. Rabara brings a wealth of experience and know-how to help develop learning characteristics, media skills, and collaboration and communication skills.
Mr. Rabara earned his undergraduate degree from California State University, Chico and his master’s degree in Educational Technology from the University of Northern Iowa. Over the course of his career, he has taught at private, public and charter schools in California, Connecticut, Florida, Texas and Iowa. Through experience with the Camp Adventure program at the University of Northern Iowa, he has also run programs for children on military bases in Japan, Holland, Iceland and Italy. His breadth of experience has led to an understanding of the effectiveness of a variety of education strategies, and the importance of having a sense of adventure and fostering curiosity when educating students.
