Hi Pottery Families,
I'm excited for the new ILA school year at the beautiful Pacific Coast Church (PCC) campus in San Clemente!
All Monday and Thursday pottery classes will be offered only at the PCC location since there isn't space at the Calvary campus. The pottery class will be held outside near the front entrance on the patio. Upper grades may attend any class at the PCC campus (ignore the grades listed), but you will need your own transportation if you're coming from Calvary. Let me know if you need a ride between campuses and I will try to arrange it with others. If this doesn't work with your schedule, then please make the changes online as soon as possible.
All pottery supplies are provided for this class (clay, tools, glazes, firings, etc). You may bring an apron if you would like to since clay is messy. Also, bring a jacket for cool days and a water bottle for hot days. Long hair should be pulled back for safety when using the motorized wheel.
Tuition is $380 per 16-week semester and it may be paid in full up front or monthly ($95/mo for 4 months.)
Pottery equipment, clay, glazes, tools, a kiln, pottery wheels, and firings are expensive, but the handmade treasures your student will create are priceless!
*Please submit payment by the 1st day of every month. Thank you! A link to payment methods is listed in the class description.
Most charter schools will not allow state funds to be used toward classes taught on the ILA campus, so I only accept charter funds at my home studio.
Deposits and Reserving a Spot
There is a non-refundable deposit of the first month’s tuition ($95) required upon enrollment. Since there are a limited number of places, please do not “hold” a spot on the roster if your plans are not definite since this prevents other students from having this opportunity.
I will be attending a memorial for my uncle in Hawaii the week of orientation, and I'm sorry to miss it. If you would like to meet on a Zoom call before school begins, then I would be glad to! Please email me to schedule a meeting.
More detailed information including links to lesson plans and payment methods are listed in the class description on the ILA website. Please let me know if you have any questions. I'm looking forward to a great year!
