Course Description

CrossFit is a youth physical development course designed to enhance your child's 10 general physical skills which include: balance, agility, coordination, accuracy, flexibility, speed, strength, power, stamina, and endurance.  This is done through practice and repetition.  Activities like jump rope, running, pushing, pulling, throwing, and kicking will help your child to continue to physically develop and most importantly be fun.

Through games and activities your child will learn to work with and support others.  We have all heard it's not whether you win or lose, but how you play the game.  We take this very serious.  Playing the game in a manner where others want to play with you is the lessons we will teach and the environment we will foster.

For some kids. like me, PE was my favorite part of school.  It allowed me to use the energy my teachers wanted me to harness while in the classroom.  For others, PE can be dreadful and anxiety provoking.  This is the beauty of our program.  Our structure and focus allows for an inclusive environment where effort and individual accomplishments are celebrated.  Everyone can succeed as they learn to face their fears, support others, and put in their best effort.

Character Building
We have 8 Character Traits that we work on during the semester.  Students have to opportunity to receive Character Certificates by demonstrating the highlighted trait and fulfilling challenges at home.  We focus on each trait for two week cycles.
