Independent Learning Academy is a christian educational ministry to the homeschooling community. We are a part of Next Generation Ministries which is a non-profit organization that was created to raise up and equip the next generation to fulfill all of their God-given purposes based on Ephesians 2:10: "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”

ILA team members work together to schedule excellent academic core and elective classes for grades TK-12. We take time to discuss, plan courses, interview teachers, observe teacher demo lessons, and schedule classes that help our students grow and develop throughout their educational years with us. We build community around our classes with lunch/recess, monthly chapels, student social functions, parent events, mom’s bible study, assemblies, and other outreaches. We are a community of homeschooling parents working shoulder to shoulder to create the best educational program for our children to enjoy and to flourish in.

We have three requirements to be part of our ILA homeschool program and community:

Families are required to participate in our ON CAMPUS 12 hours per family per 16 week semester monitoring program or contribute financially to the buyout. There are no exceptions to this. Younger children are welcomed to accompany their parent during this time, and 8-12th grade students can help fulfill and serve these hours, too, with certain positions that are available. If these hours are not fulfilled then families will not be able to continue with our program.

Families must read and abide by all the guidelines in our Parent/Student Handbook and participate in our mandatory Campus Orientations that will be shared in your welcome letter from your new family campus coordinator.

Families must pay the non-refundable registration fee at the time of check out. This fee is non-refundable regardless if family moves or chooses to discontinue the program. ILA operates on an annual ministry budget.

Our campuses open every morning with prayer, the pledge of allegiance, and student announcements. Once a month we have chapel during lunch for all TK-12th grade students who are attending lunch that day. Parents are welcome to join, too!
