Stepping into the Garden  is an interactive class where students will have the opportunity to learn and explore the world of gardening.  We will incorporate literature to further capture the students interests in gardening.  Students will have the opportunity to grow, nurture and cultivate the vegetables and flowers we will be planting.  Students will be  keeping a gardening journal to learn about the anatomy of plants as well as record their nature findings during our "expeditions".  We will also have guest gardener(s) to share their expertise with us!  In addition we will observe caterpillars emerge into butterflies as well as use lady bugs and other insects to help our garden.
