Course Description

Learn to make your own DIY jewelry projects with beads, leather, charms, wire, paper, clay, strings, and even rubber bands in this beginners jewelry class!

We’ll cover the basic techniques, terminology, tools, materials, findings, and utilize a bead board for design to determine the size, patterns, and length of a jewelry item. We'll properly finish each piece to achieve a nice everyday look.

I'll supply the materials you’ll need, and walk you through easy projects, step-by-step. Each lesson builds your dexterity and confidence: You’ll start by stringing beads, then work with metal wire by using pliers to wrap wire. You’ll advance as the year goes on and finish up by shaping your own silver ring. This is a great hands on class and not like an online video. We'll have tons of fun too!

It's a fun year long class. I hope you'll come make BLING with me!
Charter: I am working on getting charter approval.
