This course is second in the Mystery of History series, covering the years 30-1456 A.D. It provides a comprehensive view of events in the Western world from the fall of Rome to the birth of the Renaissance, as well as events in Latin America, Africa, and Asia during this time period. Class time will supplement the text with studies of art, music, and theology of each region, using activities and STEM projects. Home study as well as research assignments and novel studies. Students are expected to complete 2 hours of home assignments each week, including reading of the text and supplementary novels, and completing age-appropriate research and writing assignments. NOTE: This class meets all California standards, but is NOT eligible for charter funding, due to our Christian worldview.
