What is science?  Science is everywhere.  The very ground we stand on is science.  This year-long course will explore the wonders of God's created Earth.  The student will investigate topics like rocks and minerals, erosion and deposition, oceanography, climate and weather, the solar system, and more...Lab investigations will demonstrate observable proof of God's design--supported through His word, the Bible.  This course will be foundational to higher level science courses on the educational spectrum.

Required Material:  Text:  Earth Science:  God's World, Our Home  ISBN 978-0-9863529-1-1 from Novare Science and Math.  The author is Kevin Nelstead.  I will be teaching from the second printing, 2016, Austin, TX.  Some items from home may be required for use in labs.  A notice will be sent home with the student prior to the lab activity.
Provided by the teacher:  In class quizzes, handouts, tests, lab procedures, and most lab equipment and supplies.
