Course Description

Monart drawing program teaches anyone how to draw realistically by teaching students to recognize and see the 5 elements of shape found in all objects in the world around them. Students learn that drawing is a teachable subject just like learning the alphabet to read, musical notes to play an instrument, and dance steps to dance.
This class is an introduction to representational drawing for little artists, teaching them to recognize the five elements of shape in all objects and creatures in the world around them. We focus on developing several important skills including hand-eye coordination, fine-motor skills, focus and concentration, planning ahead and making independent choices.
