World History is a year-long college preparatory course that will study the key events that have shaped the world we live in today. The class will analyze global historical developments from ancient times to the modern era through the study of social, economic, political and ideological influences. Discussions will cover these topics from a Christian worldview, and active class participation is encouraged. Students will refine their ability to read for comprehension and critical analysis, evaluate sources of information, write clearly and convincingly, and develop listening and speaking skills. Home study is expected to take 2-4 hours a week.
- This class meets all California standards, but is NOT eligible for charter funding, due to our Christian worldview.
