This class will underscore the key figures, events, and movements that have shaped American History. We will also emphasize proper academic research and writing, utilizing historical documents and the National Archives database. Texts will include the Advanced Placement United States History textbook, W.E.B. Du Bois’s The Soul of Black Folks, and Boot’s Savage Wars of Peace.
